(January 06, 2009)—Two Ohio teen babysitters suffered injury after they were shot by a four-year-old boy wielding a shotgun.

Police say the child shot at his babysitter because the sitter accidentally stepped on the child's foot.

Eighteen-year-old Nathan Beavers and several other teens were babysitting several children in a mobile home in Jackson, Ohio on Sunday when the incident occurred.

Witnesses say the 4-year-old retrieved the shotgun from a bedroom closet and shot Beavers.

Beavers was hospitalized with minor pellet wounds to his arm and side; another teen was also injured with the shotgun pellets.

While the investigation into the shooting incident continues, Jackson County Sheriff John Shashteen says the child has not been charged.
