BROOKINGS, S.D. (June 14, 2009)--A trip to a carwash brought unintended consequences for a 20-year-old South Dakota man.

Police got a call Wednesday night about a truck that was stuck in a carwash in Brookings.

The man evidently drove his truck with an attached 16-foot trailer into the automatic carwash, and then discovered he could not drive it forward and didn't have enough room to back it out the front.

Police say they then determined the man had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from Custer County and a felony warrant from Texas.

The vehicle and trailer were removed from the carwash and impounded, and the man was held at the Brookings jail pending extradition.

People do some stupid things. This sounds like something Peter Griffin on Family Guy would do.
