MANCHESTER, N.H. (July 30, 2009)--A veteran New Hampshire sports reporter has been charged with running a prostitution ring in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and possibly into Canada.

Prosecutors say Kevin Provencher advertised his prostitution ring's services on Craigslist and other Web sites.

Provencher, 50, was held in Lawrence County, Mass., in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.

The Union Leader newspaper called Provencher "a valued employee," but said he's been suspended "until further notice."
