HUTCHINSON, Kan. (October 30, 2009)--Authorities at a Kansas prison are looking for an escapee, but it's not a prisoner.

One of the police dogs used at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility is AWOL.

Authorities said the dog named Daisy went on the lam overnight Wednesday during a storm.

The dog is used to sniff out contraband drugs in the prison.

She evidently jumped a fence that's about eight feet high.

A prison spokesman says it's the first time they've had a K-9 escapee.
