Texas Farmer Wins $185,000 Home
A Texas farmer and rancher has won a $185, 000 home in a charity benefit.

AMARILLO (November 16, 2009)--A farmer and rancher from the Texas Panhandle town of Happy has won a $185,000 home in Amarillo in a charity benefit.

Dudley McNeill was the big winner Sunday night of the new three-bedroom, two-bath home.

He the Amarillo Globe-News he didn't expect to win.

"It's unbelievable. It's crazy,” he said.

He said he’s not sure about moving to Amarillo because there's not much room for farming there.

Tickets for the raffle sold for $50 each.

The benefit was for the Myelin Project, which supports research of diseases related to nerve cells.

Happy is a town of about 630, about 35 miles south of Amarillo.
