BELL COUNTY (September 19, 2012)—Four members of a family were taken to Scott & White Hospital in Temple Wednesday evening after a three-vehicle chain reaction accident on U.S. Highway 190 between Nolanville and Belton.
The crash, which occurred as traffic backed up because of a bale of hay that was in the middle of the highway,involved a compact sedan, a Honda CRV and a Honda Civic.
The four people who were injured were in the CRV, which was in the middle of the three-vehicle collision.
The highway was reopened to traffic at around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday.
