BELL COUNTY (December 18, 2012)--An Abraham Lincoln exhibit will open Saturday at the Bell County Museum.
The traveling exhibit “Abraham Lincoln: Self-Made in America” will be on display through March 9.
The exhibit covers Lincoln’s childhood, self-education, careers, debates, the Civil War, 13th Amendment, Emancipation Proclamation, his assassination and other events of his life.
On January 12, a public reception and presentation will be held at 2 p.m. and on February 9, the museum will host “Lincoln’s Birthday Bash” designed for children of all ages.
