Belton: 43rd Annual Cat Show Coming Soon To The Expo

BELTON (September 24, 2012)-The Austin Cat Fanciers club will host its 43rd Annual Championship and Household Pet Cat Show at the Bell County Expo Center on Saturday and Sunday.

Many of the 55 different breeds of the cats recognized by The International Cat Association are expected to be at the show.

Judges will speak about the various breeds and spectators are encouraged to watch while cats, kittens, and household pets are shown and judged.

The Humane Society of North Texas will have kittens for adoption and there will be vendors with cat related items for sale for the feline friends at home.

Admission is $12 per family or $5 for adults.

Attendess can be admitted for $3 if they bring two nonperishable food items which will be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.

Admission is free for children under the age of 6.

Saturday's show will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. while Sunday's event begins at 9 a.m. and will end at 3 p.m.

The expo center is located at 301 W. Loop 121.
