BELTON (February 4, 2013)--After 20 years, Alvin Ord’s sandwich shop, Suite 6 of Bluebonnet Plaza, is no longer in business citing the poor economy for its closure.

Their phone number has been disconnected and a poster has now been taped to the door that was once booming with customers headed in and out of the restaurant.

“Due to the poor economy and the continuous rising costs of operation, we can no longer afford to be competitive,” the poster reads.

“We want to thank everyone for the privilege of serving you these past 20 years,” it continues.

The Ord family did not make mention of their next business endeavor.

It is unknown what type of business will make its new home in the building.
