BELTON (October 10, 2012)-The Fire Department will host an open house on Saturday as part of Fire Prevention Week.

The open house will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Fire Station 2, located at 420 Sparta Road.

Residents of the area are invited out for a day of fun and refreshments with local firefighters who will be on hand with fire safety information.

Activities include station tours, equipment demonstrations, health screenings, a bounce house, face painting, and music.

There will also be an opportunity to participate in a Stop, Drop, and Roll activity and Sparky the Fire Dalmatian will be available for photos.
