BELTON (September 10, 2012)-The Belton Fire Department will honor New York Firefighters, other emergency personnel, and all victims that lost their lives during the September 11 World Trade Center attacks in 2001.
A ceremony will be held at Station II, located at 420 Sparta Road on Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Firefighters will present a set of firefighter bunker gear and a wreath at the Station's flag pole followed by a moment of silence.
At exactly 7:46 a.m., the time the attacks began, the Bell County Communication Center will set off fire tones in honor of their sacrifice.
Belton, Bell County, and the entire country will fly the American flag at half-staff on Patriot Day in memory.
