Belton: Local Hospital Reaches Out To Active-Duty Military, Military Leaders Tour Facility

BELTON (April 16, 2013)--Cedar Crest Hospital off I-35S in Belton will brief military leaders on a program geared toward active-duty military to help them cope with PTSD, substance and alcohol abuse and other issues.

Fort Hood representatives will also receive a tour of the facility following the discussion of treatment available to soldiers.

“Cedar Crest is proud to have a number of prior military staff who deeply understand the complexities of military life and service, and our treatment program is designed to meet the special needs of our soldiers,” a hospital spokesperson said.

Brigadier General Clark LeMasters of the 13th ESC and others will arrive at 11:30 a.m.
