Belton: Museum Brings In “Tipi Interpreter”

BELTON (March 20, 2013)--The Bell County Museum has invited special guest living history interpreter Curtis Carter to the museum Saturday to demonstrate how Indian toys and tools were used in the 1800s.

From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Carter will use a Cheyenne tipi as a backdrop for his presentation which will contain items from an 1860s Plains Indian household.

Dressed for the part he will share his knowledge with residents of all ages.

The event is free and refreshments will be served.
