Cameron: Student Calf Roper Awarded College Scholarship

CAMERON (March 20, 2013)—One C.H. Yoe High School senior will sign a letter of intent after receiving a full-ride to college for his calf-roping skills.

Keaton Denio’s scholarship from Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) Agriculture/Ranch Management Department includes tuition, fees and books, meals and travel expenses.

He will represent the rodeo team as a calf roper.

Coached by Brent Bratton, the rodeo team competes in the southern region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

Keaton will sign his letter of intent at 9 a.m. Friday at the high school.

The college is located in Athens, about an hour southeast of Dallas.
