CAMERON (July 13, 2012)—A raid Thursday evening on a home in the 1100 block of West Main Street in Cameron led to the arrest of a 47-year-old and the seizure of 4 grams of methamphetamine and more than $1,200 in cash.
Two firearms were also seized in the raid.
The raid was the result of a two-week investigation by Milam County sheriff’s deputies and Cameron police that was launched in response to reports of drug trafficking, Sheriff David Greene said Friday.
Douglas Patrick King of Cameron was charged with possession of a controlled substance and ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
