ROCKDALE (September 20, 2012)--The Central Texas Outdoor Expo is this weekend.
The event begins Friday with the Battle of the Bands.
Six bands will compete to open for country music group Little Texas who will perform Saturday.
The fun includes archery, barbeque cookoff, horseshoe and washer tournament, a Civil War reenactment, fly fishing, children’s games, skeet shooting and more.
A margarita and salsa contest is also slated for Saturday.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and younger.
Military personnel with ID are admitted free of charge.
The fun gets underway at Apache Pass.
