ROCKDALE (October 15, 2012)--The Rockdale Fair is set to open for three days beginning Thursday.

Residents can purchase tickets before then in town at Citizen’s National Bank, city hall, chamber of commerce, Federal Credit Union and Brookshire’s grocery store.

Three-day admission $20 for adults and $10 for children under 13 years of age.

Seniors ages 55 and older will also be admitted for $10.

Daily tickets are $15 for adults.

The fun will include a livestock show, musical entertainment, rodeo, vendors a dance and a barbeque cook-off.

Carnival rides will also be a part of the fun and they will open Wednesday.

Restless Heart will perform Friday while Steve Wariner and Sunny Sweeney will perform Saturday.

The fair will get underway at Fair Park.
