COPPERAS COVE (March 21, 2013)-Copperas Cove ISD will host their annual film festival Thursday.
The event will take place in Lea Ledger Auditorium from 6 p.m.-7 p.m.
The festival will feature student entries from the district's Digital Media Contest earlier this year.
"It gives students a creative outlet to express their point of view on a topic," District Instructional Technology Specialist Beth Best said.
Categories for the event include a less than 90 seconds category and a 21 seconds to 3 minutes category.
Overall, 32 films will be featured and competing for prizes at the festival.
"There may be a future film maker among these entries this year," Best said.
The event is free and open to the public.
