COPPERAS COVE (January 3, 2012) -- A late night trip to McDonald's ended in the arrest of two women who were charged with aggravated robbery in the theft of $51 from the wallet of a woman who was in the restroom and whom the thieves later tried to run down with a car, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

After the victim discovered the theft, she confronted the two women, one of whom pushed her aside, the affidavit says.

Outside the restaurant, the victim again tried to stop the women.

The affidavit says as she "positioned herself in front of the car to keep them from leaving," the driver of the Dodge Neon "lunged" the car at her.

The victim tried one more time to stop the women as they drove out of the parking lot and was forced to jump on the hood of the car to avoid being run down, the affidavit said.

Sara Louise Bryant and Crystal Grace Paicely were arrested after the incident and were booked into the Coryell County Jail.

Online records show that neither was held Thursday.
