Copperas Cove (January 10, 2013)--The Central Texas College Enactus organization, formerly known as Students in Free Enterprise, will host a grand re-opening of a local pet store in which they helped to revive.

Fins and Flowers, located at 113 East Avenue E, has been remodeled both inside and outside and will now be called Out of the Cage Pet Shop.

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, the public is invited to the grand opening where discounts and sale items will be offered to customers.

The event will last until 6 p.m.

In November, the CTC organization painted and redesigned the store including its inventory and products.

Their goal was to solidify and expand the store’s customer base.

This is the second project that the organization has undertaken to help revive small businesses in the area.

Last summer, the students provided assistance to Michele’s Floral and Gifts in Copperas Cove by opening a second location, a kiosk, inside the main Post Exchange on Fort Hood.
