COPPERAS COVE (November 19, 2012)—Several pre-approved families will have something to be thankful for Tuesday as the annual community-wide Thanksgiving Basket Benefit gets underway.
Residents and community members donated items to create a Thanksgiving meal basket for residents in need earlier this month.
Individuals to receive the gifts were screened and referred by churches and nonprofit groups.
Recipients will receive their goodies on Tuesday at the Copperas Cove Civic Center.
