COPPERAS COVE (June 11, 2012)--The Copperas Cove City Council, which cancelled last week's meeting, will meet Wednesday.
The council had to reschedule Monday's meeting because of prior training engagements, a city spokesperson said.
A public hearing is scheduled to discuss the annexation of about 43 acres between Avenue B and Skyline Drive, at the owner's request, to make room for the expansion of housing at the Mesa Verde at Skyline subdivision.
Council members will begin with a workshop at 5 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 6 p.m.
The meeting will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers at 507 South Main St.
