CORYELL COUNTY (February 13, 2013)--Two meetings were held Tuesday to allow residents in Coryell County to give their input on some possible polling changes.
About 25 people attended a meeting in Gatesville and almost 50 attended the meeting in Copperas cove, said Tax Assessor Collector Justin Carothers.
The meetings covered a county-wide polling place program.
Carothers said feedback from residents was split with about half in favor of the change.
The Commissioners Court is expected to vote on the program on February 25 at 9 am in Gatesville. If approved, the county will have 10 all electronic polling locations, and voters will be able to cast their ballots anywhere.
