WACO (November 19, 2012)--An oversized load severely damaged a traffic light at Lake Shore Drive and Steinbeck Bend Saturday, causing some drivers confusion.
The City of Waco says the light, which continuously flashes red, should be treated as a all-way stop sign with drivers coming to a complete stop and yielding to vehicles entering or are already in the intersection.
Traffic is expected to be heavy in the area until Wednesday when a new foundation is drilled and a new pole is installed.
