FORT HOOD (October 19, 2012) --- The only movie theater on Fort Hood reopened Friday after being closed down for more than six months because of damage from a fire.
The fire broke out earlier this year causing damages that cost more than $300,000 to repair.
It was later determined that a popcorn warmer in the lobby caused the fire.
The theater now seats more than 750 guests in upgraded stadium seating.
The first show in the renovated theater begins at 7 p.m. Friday with the movie 'Frankenweenie.'
