FORT HOOD (October 3, 2012)—Fort Hood Wednesday identified a soldier who was found dead on Sept. 28 in his home as Sgt. 1st Class Calon Cornelius Cunningham, 33, a native of Port of Spain, Republic of Trinidad.
He joined the Army in January 1999 and had been assigned to Fort Hood’s 166th Aviation Brigade, Division West, First Army, since December 2009.
Circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation, Fort Hood said Wednesday.
