FORT HOOD (December 4, 2012)--Soldiers from the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) will return home from Afghanistan after a year-long deployment.
A welcome home ceremony will be held in the afternoon.
“During the deployment, the 13th ESC soldiers integrated into the Deputy Command of Support Operations under NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan, and served both in the headquarters of the directorate at Camp Eggers, Kabul, and all five regional support commands across Afghanistan, conducting logistics training and mentoring with our Afghan partners,” Fort Hood spokesperson Jason Kucera said.
