FORT HOOD (October 24, 2012)--The 4th Brigade Combat Team “Longknife,” 1st Cavalry Division, will conduct a color casing ceremony Friday in preparation of their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.
The casing of the colors will represent their movement to a new theater of operation.
This will be the brigade’s fourth deployment, their first to Afghanistan.
The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. on Cooper Field.
