FORT HOOD (March 5, 2013)--In an effort to educate patients on their providers and to provide recognition to those who deserve it the most, the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center will unveil its Army Provider Level Satisfaction Survey (APLSS) tree Thursday.

Open to all TRICARE beneficiaries, the event will showcase the APLSS tree which is a canvas painting that will display the photos of the top medical center providers.

The results of the tree are determined by completed customer satisfaction surveys and in order for them to be considered providers must receive at least 20 survey responses within a quarter that reflect a satisfaction rating of at least 95 percent.

The tree will be updated every quarter and providers will be allowed to remain on the tree if they meet the criteria again.

Providers who have received 10 responses in a quarter that earned a 95 percent or higher score will receive an apple lapel pin and certificate of appreciation.

The unveiling of the tree will begin at 10 a.m. in the medical center lobby.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
