FORT HOOD (November 12, 2012)--More than 110 illuminated and animated light displays choreographed to Christmas music will be on display at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area Friday.

One spectator per vehicle can receive a free fifth annual Nature in Lights Christmas Ornament Monday through Wednesday evenings while supplies last.

Santa’s Village will be open Thursday through Sunday until December 9 and everyday following, through Christmas Eve.

Children can get pictures taken with Santa at the village and arts and crafts vendors will have items on display.

A second trail of lights will not be open to vehicular traffic but will be available for anyone wishing to hop on the tram at Santa’s Depot.

The cost for the ride is $5 per adult or $3 per child ages 11 and younger.

Lap children can ride for free, determined by the vendor.

Other activities will include pony rides and a petting zoo for a small fee.

Prices are $5 per car, minivan and truck, $15 per limo, RV and 15-passenger vans, $25 for 24-passenger vans and $40 for 47-passenger vans and large busses.

The display runs through January 6.
