FORT HOOD (October 2, 2012)--A career fair Wednesday for military spouses will include short seminars and more than 50 companies looking to hire.

A virtual career fair is also available to youth ages 16-22 as well as disabled military personnel and their families.

The career fair is part of Career Fair Week which runs from Wednesday through Tuesday.

Industries represented will include: financial, government agencies, law enforcement, education, healthcare, customer service, information technology, logistics and customer service.

The fair only lasts from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., but will be packed with information and three seminar mini-sessions.

The seminars will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the first topic to cover how to turn a job fair into a job offer.

At 10:30 a.m. “Think B4U Post” will cover the influence of social media and at 11:00 a.m. a short seminar will be presented on federal careers, specifically the employment process.
