FORT HOOD (January 11, 2013)--The Fort Hood Housing Services Office and Hope Now Alliance is hosting a Military Mortgage Assistance Outreach event Tuesday.

From 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Fort Hood Community Events Center, the Hope Now Alliance organization will assist active-duty military, reserve members, retirees and Fort Hood civilian homeowners who may be having difficulty with their mortgages.

Attendees will receive help with short sales, interest reduction, government programs, loan modifications, refinance options and more from nonprofit housing counselors and lenders.

Those in attendance should bring monthly mortgage statements, two of their most recent pay stubs, documentation of all income sources, recent bank statements, ID and proof of address.
