FORT HOOD (June 25, 2012)--The free monthly Parenting Order Legal Clinic Tuesday will offer service members, dependents and retirees basic information on court orders.
The III Corps and Fort Hood Legal Assistance Office, in conjunction with the Texas Attorney General's Office, will hold the clinic at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Oveta Culp Hobby Soldier & Family Readiness Center.
The program will help attendees interpret court orders as well as give enhanced, personalized assistance in addressing paternity establishment, child support, and parenting time matters, the TexVet website says.
It will not offer specific legal advice or legal representation, organizers said.
Organizers advise that children should be left at home because of the sensitive nature of the subject matter.
