GATESVILLE (June 10, 2012)- A bike race took a terrible turn Saturday when one of the participants crashed.
Randy Parker crashed his bike Saturday in Coryell County on FM 929 near Winter Road.
He was airlifted to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Parker was part of team "Road Kill," a bicycle riding group from the Killeen area.
A nursing supervisor at the hospital told News 10 Parker is in stable condition.
