GROESBECK (March 27, 2012)- A local restaurant suffered severe damage Tuesday morning after a fire.
The fire started just after midnight at the Sander Hometown Cafe on the 300 block of South Ellis Street.
It took crews three and half hours to extinguish the blaze, which caused severe structural damage to the building.
Investigators believe that the fire was an electrical fire.
There were no injuries to any of the firefighters.
Crews from Groesbeck, Mexia and Thornton were involved in fighting the fire.
