GROESBECK (June 14, 2012)--The second annual Navasota River Festival is scheduled for Saturday in downtown Groesbeck and the gates open on Navasota Street in front of city hall at 8 p.m.
Willie Herring will open for the band 35 South, and the Chris Low Band will also take to the stage.
Admission is $10 for adults with children 12 and under to get in free.
Money raised form the event will benefit the Groesbeck Volunteer Fire Department and the Civic Center fund.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to purchase a VIP table, which includes 10 seats, steak dinners prepared by the volunteer fire department, and T-shirts.
VIP tables can be purchased for $300 until noon on Saturday.
