GROESBECK (May 28, 2012)--Residents of the City of Groesbeck will have an opportunity to escape the heat starting Saturday when the city's pool opens for the summer.

Pool hours for public swim will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Swimming and water aerobics classes will occupy the pool some mornings and evenings before and after the pool closes to the public.

The pool will be closed on Mondays.

Anyone wishing to book the pool for a party must do so in person at the Groesbeck City Hall, as no reservations will be taken over the phone.

The pool will remain open until August 11.
