HARKER HEIGHTS (February 22, 2013)--Families are invited to come out to Pan American Drive Saturday to benefit a three-year-old girl with leukemia.
Sophia Flint was diagnosed earlier this year with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.
A benefit will be held at the Pan American Club at 575 Pan American Drive to raise money for her upcoming treatments.
The event starts at 1 p.m. with a silent auction at 4 p.m. and a dance at 8 p.m.
B’s Family BBQ will serve barbeque plates that include two meats and two sides for $8.
Other foods are available for purchase and activities will include hula dancers, face painting, bounce houses, a petting zoo, clown and more.
All donations will be used to help Sophia in her fight against cancer.
