HARKER HEIGHTS (September 27, 2012)--The DAV’s Cantina Restaurant will present Fire Chief Jack Coller with much needed funds Friday for the Harker Heights Thanksgiving Baskets and Santa Pal programs.
The Harker Heights Fire Department and Harker Heights Lions Club work in collaboration to put together food baskets for members of the community who are not able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner.
The Santa Pal program works much the same way to offer children Christmas gifts that they may not have received otherwise.
The check will be presented at 11 a.m. at the Central Fire Station on Indian Trail.
