HARKER HEIGHTS (February 27, 2013)--Cheyenne Prettyflower Warner, 25, was in the Bell County Jail Thursday charged with aggravated assault after an incident in which a man was stabbed in the back at a Harker Heights home.
Harker Heights Police Chief Mike Gentry said officers were sent to a home in the 900 block of Crymes Lane on at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in response to a report of the stabbing.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit Warner admitted in a written statement that she threw a knife that hit Rene Garza, Jr., in the back.
The affidavit also says Garza was cut and stabbed.
Gentry said Garza did go to a local hospital although he could not say whether was taken there by private vehicle or ambulance.
A judge set Warner’s bond at $100,000.
