HILLSBORO (December 19, 2012)--A “Neon Warrior Walk” Wednesday night will honor Hillsboro Junior High Principal Cathy Patterson who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Walkers are encouraged to wear pink and anything that glows.
Glow sticks will be available to purchase for $1, along with hot chocolate and popcorn.
The walk will begin at the school at 7 p.m. and end at Lady Bug Deli on E. Franklin about an hour later.
Day-of Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of the walk.
The cost is $10.
Proceeds will help pay for Patterson’s medical expenses.
