HILLSBORO (December 31, 2012)--The Hillsboro ISD Education Foundation is accepting donations for the upcoming year to assist with funding for local schools.

The tax-deductable donation will help provide for supplies and programs that are outside the school district’s budget.

Technology, such as iPads and LeapPads currently in use by the students, was paid for in part through the foundation.

Contributions can be made in almost any amount and large sum donations give the donator an invitation to attend the annual awards banquet as well as various sporting events.

The public can donate any amount up to $250 to be a Friends Sponsor, or in the following increments: $500, $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000.
