HILLSBORO (November 6, 2012)--The Hill College Fall Band Concert, “A Tribute to our Veterans,” will be held Thursday at the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center.

Phillip Lowe will direct the event which will feature a concert band, jazz band, two student conductors, several vocal soloists and the Hill College Fire Academy Color Guard.

Music selections will include the Star-Spangled Banner, the Coast Guards March, the Missing Man dedicated to the Air Force, Invincible Eagle, an Armed Forces Salute and more.

Big Band swing pieces will also be played including Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood.”

Attendees are encouraged to wear their uniform and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free.
