KILLEEN (February 1, 2013)—Texas Humane Heroes in Killeen, which used to be the CenTex Humane Society, is offering free adoptions this weekend, but it’s a limited offer.
The goal of the event is to find homes for all of the dogs at cats in the shelter.
The Mega Adoption Event is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the shelter at 5501 Clear Creek Rd. in Killeen.
