KILLEEN (August 17, 2012)--The Killeen Police Department is hosting their 33rd Citizen’s Police Academy beginning Monday.
The free course will be held Monday from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. with an additional Saturday class in October.
The participants were selected by police earlier this month.
The twelve weeks of instruction will give citizens insight into law enforcement’s daily operations and will also give residents an opportunity to learn about issues that affect law enforcement efforts in Killeen.
