CENTRAL TEXAS (February 7, 2013)--Six Central Texas Chick-Fil-A locations are making sure the community does not go hungry this month by matching soup purchases with a soup donation.

For every purchase of Chicken Tortilla Soup or Chick-Fil-A Hearty Breast of Chicken Soup purchased this month, an order of soup will be given to the Salvation Army’s Community Kitchen in Waco.

The Community Kitchen serves an average of more than 6,000 meals a month.

Participating Chick-Fil-A locations include: Waco on Franklin Ave., Richland Mall in Waco, Temple on N. 31st St., Temple Mall, Killeen and Harker Heights, both located on E. Central Texas Expressway.

Soup purchases made through Feb. 28 will be matched and donated.
