KILLEEN (February 4, 2013)—Large government agencies will connect with smaller local businesses Wednesday during the Fort Hood Region Government Vendor Conference and Expo.
The conference and expo is designed to promote relationship building between the federal, state and local government agencies and the smaller, women-owned and minority-owned businesses at Fort Hood and the greater Central Texas region.
With admission, attendees will be able to take part in all conference sessions, gain entry into the exhibit hall and attend the networking luncheon.
Seminars and workshops will be offered to small business owners who are looking for the additional tools to expand their business opportunities.
Registration continues through Tuesday or at the door Wednesday.
Military uniformed personnel will get entry into the exhibit hall at no cost, but will need to pay for any sessions attended.
The cost is $125 and registration can be completed online.
The event runs from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will be held at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.
