KILLEEN (December 13, 2012)--A Killeen man was named Wednesday in an indictment charging aggravated sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl.
Timothy Colt Castleberry, 29, was held Thursday in the Bell County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond on the indicted charge.
Killeen police arrested Castleberry at his home on Stagecoach Drive on Nov. 12.
Court documents show Castleberry was arrested on a warrant charging sexual assault of a child after a second victim came forward and named him as an assailant.
He also faces an additional charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child involving a 12-year-old girl.
Killeen police initially arrested Castleberry on Oct. 2 on a warrant after a witness saw inappropriate pictures of a young girl on a cell phone.
The photographs were found on Sept. 13.
An arrest affidavit signed by Bell County Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke says police were able to identify the young girl and in an interview she said she was sexually assaulted several times beginning in the spring of 2012.
The original affidavit says at least one of the assaults was by force.
The second arrest affidavit says a 10-year-old girl told police told officers beginning when she was only 5-years-old a man forced her to have sex with him.
Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke set Castleberry's bond.
