KILLEEN (October 18, 2012)--A Killeen man was indicted Wednesday on multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child involving two young victims.

The charges against Harry William Parnell III, 35, stem from the alleged abuse of two girls, ages 12 and 14, in September.

Parnell has been Thursday in the Bell County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $600,000 since his arrest on Sept. 20.

An arrest affidavit says that one of the victims reported to her mother that a man had inappropriate sexual contact with her while she was staying at a friend's house in Killeen.

The affidavit says the victim reported the man had sexually assaulted her several times over a period of several years.

Parnell already was serving 10 years deferred adjudication probation after he pleaded guilty to a similar charge in 2010.

In that incident Parnell pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman who was giving him a ride to Fort Hood.
