KILLEEN (October 5, 2012)--A Killeen man pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court in Waco to burglary of a habitation on Fort Hood.

U.S. District Judge Walter S. Smith, Jr., set Norris Dupard, Jr., for sentencing on Nov. 28 at 1 p.m.

A federal affidavit says on Jan. 18 Dupard entered an unoccupied barracks room at Fort Hood and took a Mac Book Pro laptop, a gaming system, an LED television, several items of jewelry, clothes and two olive drab army laundry bags.

FBI Special Agent Daniel W. Chadwick said while checking different law enforcement databases over a two week period, military police learned the stolen laptop had been pawned at First Cash Pawn in Killeen, the television had been pawned at Action Pawn #1 in Killeen, and the XBOX had been pawned at Cash Pawn #7 in Killeen.

After agents identified Dupard as the suspect, they searched his room at a Killeen motel and found jewelry and clothes belonging to the victim, along with an olive drab army laundry bag with the victim's name on it.
